- 2 cups cherries (washed, pitted, and halved)
- 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, spread halved cherries on it, sprinkle with sugar, and roast for about 10 minutes until softened. Allow cooling.
- Lower the oven temperature to 325°F. Spray an 8×8 inch baking pan with non-stick spray and line it with parchment paper.
