  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 (11.36-ounce) box Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, broth, milk, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Prepare the Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix as directed on the package. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Spoon the biscuit dough over the chicken mixture in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Melt butter and brush it over hot biscuits after baking.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
