  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles (orange, yellow, brown)

Instructions

  1. Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour and salt before gradually adding to the butter mixture. Mix until just combined to form a soft dough.
  4. Fold in the mini chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles evenly.
  5. Divide the dough into two discs, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  7. Roll out one disc of chilled dough to about 1/4-inch thickness on a floured surface.
  8. Cut out cookies using a pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter and place them on the baking sheets with space between each cookie.
  9. Gather scraps to re-roll and cut additional cookies until all dough is used.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  11. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
