  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for cinnamon sugar coating)
  • ½ cup chocolate hazelnut spread

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; set aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined. Stir in milk.
  5. Chill dough for at least 1 hour before rolling out to ¼-inch thick.
  6. Cut out cookies using a round cutter, leaving some with jack-o'-lantern shapes.
  7. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden; cool before filling.
  8. Assemble cookies by spreading hazelnut spread on plain cookies and topping with cut-out shapes.
  9. Roll completed cookies in cinnamon sugar.
